Scherrer, Beat

Beat has worked as a research assistant at the ETH Development Economics Group since June 2024. He holds an MA in Economics and Behavioural Economics from the University of Zurich. Prior to joining DEC, Beat worked as an Intern and as a Research Assistant at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute. Beat's research interests include the measurement of extreme poverty and inequality, in particular with the help of machine learning techniques and the analysis of child health, development, and education.
