Dario is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Manager after completing his doctorate in 2023. His research is situated at the intersection of labor economics, inequality, and development. As part of his Ph.D., he visited UC Berkeley and Princeton University. He also conducted research on sanitation in poor urban areas, for which he conducted a large household survey in Kenya, Ghana, and Bangladesh.
Before his Ph.D. at ETH, he was a research assistant based in Malawi for the Center for Child Well-being and Development at the University of Zurich. Dario holds an MA in Economics from the University of Zurich, during which he participated in an international exchange program at the University of São Paulo in Brazil.
Apart from his position at ETH Nadel, Dario is a Researcher at the Labor Market and Social Policy Analyses section of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
