Ghislaine Tegha Megha-Bongnkar

Ghislaine is a PhD student at the Chair of Development Economics (DEC) since September 2022. She is also a part of the ETH-EPFL Joint Doctoral Programme in Learning Sciences. Her research focuses on adult learning for evidence-informed policymaking. Specifically, she aims at experimenting with various tools for policymakers and practitioners around the world to learn the required skills for evidence-informed policymaking.
Prior to starting her PhD, Ghislaine worked as an International Development Analyst and Consultant in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean, where her work was focused on providing technical support to policymakers on EdTech, systems strengthening, emergency education responses, education policy and education sector planning. She also worked on sustainable agriculture and environmental programmes with the government of Cameroon.
Ghislaine holds an M.Sc. in SmartEdTech, Co-Creativity and Digital Innovation for Education from the Université Côte d'Azur and a B.Sc. in Economics from the Catholic University of Cameroon. She has broad interests in climate change, disaster risk management, poverty and inequality.
